To mark the World Humanitarian, YieldUp Development Initiative in partnership with BenueAID Community Development Initiative setted up a Project OneSHIELD to  assist Children, Less privileged, and disabled people.
‎Project OneSHIELD focused on providing hygiene, health, and psychosocial support to individuals and families living in the IDP camp.
‎ Our collective impact:
250 children were dewormed, received dental kits, and learned how to care for their health.
50 women gained essential knowledge on health, menstrual hygiene including eco-friendly re-usable pads and received hygiene (dignity) kits.
12 adolescents took part in chess resilience sessions strengthening their focus, problem-solving, and psychosocial well-being.
In addition to these numbers, this project was about improving health outcomes, restoring dignity, building resilience, and sparking hope in a community that continues to face the daily challenges of health inequities.
While we still share more details, upon completion, we are reminded that every act of kindness; big or small can make a lasting difference.
